Meet the most fun 5 year old twin boys!  Landon (shiner) and Lane (no shiner).

Landon and Lane are nothing short of spunk, adventure, and adorableness.  I loved meeting them at their farm on a very cold November morning.  They did not complain once about the temperature!

First they were proud to show off their chicken coop.  They really wanted to check for eggs but their mom told them we’d wait until after seeing the cows.  It was a welcomed atmosphere once stepping in to the warm barn.  I love farms – manure and all!  Okay, granted I don’t have to actually do all the work, so it is easy for me to say.  Farmers are the hardest working humans I know.

Lane and Landon showed me around the barn and were excited for me to meet their pigs.  After we left the barn we paused at the silo and in the evergreens before going to look for eggs.  There was one egg which surprised their dad since they had already gotten, I think, eight that morning.  I need chickens for as many eggs as I eat!

The boys posed with the egg and we went in for just a few more shots before I headed home.  Mom and Dad choose a 30 minute mini-session which was a perfect amount of time.  Lane was ready to be done.  I just love those last photos on the Van Dyk box!

Thank you Van Dyks for inviting me over for the morning so I could meet your boys.  I am very glad, Rikki, that you decided to have the session even though Landon had a black-eye.  I have heard so many comments on how awesome your photos are – and part of that is because of that shiner!  What a memorable morning 🙂  I am so happy we met, too!
