Lou’s Senior Portraits (Amery, WI)

Part of the joy in the business of photographing people is I don’t always know my clients until we meet and I hold a camera in their face.  I try to be conscientious of their comfort level, personality, and all the elements of the photos.  It is so fun when I get someone who loves a camera.  That would be this beauty, Lou.

It is Lou’s personality.  No doubt about it.  And it is also the experience she has had running for Miss Teen Wisconsin last year.  Amazing courage and vision right there!

Lou is a spunky girl ready to graduate from Amery.  She moved to Wisconsin from the Philippines as a young girl of four years old.  One day she hopes to visit her childhood country.

Lou currently works at McDonald’s and is hoping to one day become an actress.  As she said, she needs to do something out and about with people.  I agree, this is where you shine, Lou.

I enjoyed Lou’s desire for some adventure in her session.  She loves her white dress and feels free and playful wearing it.  It was a lot of fun to capture.  She is just a doll, inside and out.  A breath of fresh air!

We enjoyed our time at the Heritage Center in New Richmond and hope to have a winter session as well.

In the meantime I want to say “Thank You, Lou for choosing me as your photographer and for sharing bits of your life with me!”  I know she will do great things!
